A Robust Approach to Concrete Reinforcement
Concrete structures and floors are designed to serve specific purposes for many years. But what happens when requirements change over time? In such cases, which increase structural demands so that the original construction no longer suffices, concrete strengthening using carbon adhesive reinforcement or rebars offers an efficient and sophisticated solution.
High-Strength Synthetic Fibres
The concept of adhesive reinforcement is straightforward. Using a special epoxy adhesive we apply thin, extremely strong strips made of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) onto the concrete to be strengthened. This Plastic Fibre Reinforcement method has several benefits: the strips are easier to handle compared to steel beams, occupy less space and are immune to rust.
