Mourik Industry strengthens position in energy transition with acquisition of GPW Turbine Support B.V.
Mourik Industry has acquired GPW Turbine Support B.V. GPW, based in Hellevoetsluis, specialises in rotating equipment and torque & tensioning techniques. This strategic move strengthens Mourik's position in the energy market and accelerates the company's growth ambitions within the energy transition.

New market, enhanced competencies
With this acquisition, Mourik Industry is entering a new market segment within the energy sector, including (gas) turbines and compressors, and strengthening its technical competencies. Demand for services related to rotating equipment is steadily increasing due to its growing share in new installations, the conversion of gas turbines to hydrogen, and the increasing need for compressor services for hydrogen and ammonia, among other things. GPW's decades of experience in this field will provide Mourik with valuable knowledge and expertise.
