Maintenance contract for MSCN's new factory awarded to Mourik Industry
Recently, the maintenance contract for MSCN's new factory was awarded to Mourik Industry. The contract has a duration of three years, with the possibility of a two-year extension. Last week, chemical producer MSCN and Mourik Industry signed a multi-year maintenance contract.
The Japanese company MSCN is part of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical. Last year, MSCN built a new production facility in the Netherlands, located at port site 5210 in Rozenburg. The foundation for this facility was laid by our own Mourik Industrial Construction! Additionally, our colleagues from MVOI and our catalyst division have already carried out work for MSCN.
At this location, we provide a multidisciplinary service package, including:
- Cleaning
- Piping & Mechanical
- Civil Engineering
This results in greater efficiency for both the client and Mourik.
Pleasant collaboration
The contract was signed by Masatoshi Sato (Managing Director) and Dick de Gier (Regional Director Central), in the presence of Arno Met (Plant Manager MSCN), Dragan Mladenovic (Maintenance Manager MSCN), Kees Jan Mourik, Dennis Zijlmans, and Mylène van Dissel.
Plant Manager Arno Met explains why they chose Mourik: “We are very pleased with the various collaborations we have with the different Mourik departments: professional, practical, and down-to-earth!” Regional Director Dick de Gier adds: “The collaboration with MSCN is very pleasant. Communication lines are short, allowing us to respond quickly. We look forward to a successful and long-term partnership.”
We are very pleased with the collaboration we have with Mourik
Port site 5210 is managed by Huntsman Holland, another important client of ours, along with Air Liquide, Lucite, INVISTA, Plant One, and Evides, who are also based there. In short, anyone visiting port site 5210 cannot miss the Mourik yellow!
