Mourik Industry acquires laser cleaning specialist Laser4Clean
Mourik Industry acquired the business activities of laser cleaning specialist Laser4Clean, based in Nijmegen, on 30 March 2026. With this acquisition, Mourik expands its service portfolio with laser cleaning: an innovative cleaning technique applied in sectors including petrochemicals, waste processing, energy, and the process industry.
Specialist cleaning
The acquisition aligns with Mourik’s strategy to serve existing markets with a broad and integrated range of industrial services while also entering new markets. According to Jeroen Maan, Managing Director of Mourik Industry, laser cleaning is a valuable addition to the current service offering. “We already provide a wide range of industrial services, including rotating equipment services, catalyst handling, mechanical works, preservation, and industrial cleaning. With Laser4Clean, we are adding a specialist cleaning concept that fits well with our existing expertise and market demand,” said Maan.
Low environmental impact
Laser4Clean specializes in high-end on-site laser cleaning. Using advanced laser technology, contamination, corrosion, coatings, and other impurities can be completely removed without damaging the underlying surface. The process does not require water or chemicals, making it particularly suitable for applications where sustainability, safety, and low environmental impact are key.
Maarten van Eck, Director of Laser4Clean, also sees strong growth opportunities within Mourik. “Due to the quality, sustainability, and speed of laser cleaning, demand for this technology is increasing rapidly. We are confident that, under the Mourik banner, Laser4Clean’s activities can be further developed and expanded, while preserving our specialist knowledge and way of working,” said Van Eck.
