Nature-inclusive construction is possible!

Bas Brekelmans is a Project Manager at Mourik Infra. He was interviewed by Land+Water about the dike reinforcement and biodiversity at Salmsteke. We also asked him where he finds personal fulfillment.

“It’s the innovations that benefit both infrastructure and nature, such as our hydrogen-powered excavator and generators, and the Prolock cleaning machine we developed ourselves for Salmsteke. It’s very rewarding to be able to successfully develop such innovations together, within the project schedule and budget. That’s where we really stand out. We push boundaries, but maintain balance. That makes me proud.”
