The cleaning of components and equipment using water under high pressure has for decades been one of Mourik’s specializations. Besides the cleaning of bundles, the bundleshells also have to be cleaned. For this, Mourik has developed in-house the Rotorjet Cleaning Device.

Every catalyst change-out is different, dependent on the product, the type of catalyst, and the lay-out of the chemical plant. At Mourik we always make use of a smooth and efficient change-out system all to minimize the down time of the factory. For removing every last bit of catalyst after lancing we use our M-gripper to final clean the tubes from the underside of the reactor.

Meet M-Lance, the newest addition to the Mourik tubular catalyst change system. Unloading spent catalyst from a tubular reactor was previously a labor-intensive job. Using M-Lance, a Mourik patented technology, the unloading process is automated, resulting in a safer work environment, and a more efficient and predictable tubular catalyst change-out.
