World player and family business all rolled into one

Mourik is one of the largest independent family businesses in the Netherlands – and we are quite proud of that. We are enterprising and innovative, but above all, we are a company of hardworking people. Quite often, generation after generation works for us.

Rich history, ambitious future 

In the 1920s, Joh. Mourik and J.C. Mourik founded the company that still bears their name. In the early years, the Mourik brothers concentrated on laying electricity cables − first aboveground, but later also underground. Earth moving became road construction and infrastructure activities, and because Mourik was active in the Europoort and Botlek areas, the provision of industrial services to the (petro)chemical companies was the logical next step.

Now, almost 100 years later, Mourik has a turnover of 476 million euros and branches all over the world. Our services have blossomed into a multidisciplinary package that we provide increasingly often as a total solution, with a range of specialisations.
